Hello Gert,
I would think your three photos were taken in the district Mattancherry, in the neigbourhood of the Mattancherry Palace, or on the way from there to Fort Cochin.
Your main photo shows a wonderful collection of very beautiful buildings. The bridge, the boat, the open gate and the reflections complete the beautiful scenery.
I'm quite sure I didn't see the exact same scene when I was there in January 2019.
I even wonder if this spot still exists. At least as shown here. Kochi is very large and also the most densely populated city in Kerala.
Obviously I may have missed this place. But it is also possible that so much has been renovated in the meantime, which would be a shame because this is really a very beautiful place on the small canal. In any case, the house in the front right seems new.
In Mattancherry a lot of shopping streets have been added (with souvenir shops). During my 2019 trip Kochi was clearly the most visited place by westerners.
I also remember that many Kashmiri had a shop there. The mixing of different Indian peoples across the country had greatly increased compared to my first visits in the north in the 1990s.
What you show in the WS still exists. It reminds me of the buildings and warehouses you see on the way from Mattancherry to Fort Kochi. I did that route on foot.
In any case, three beautiful photos that nicely meet my love for India.
Best regards, Paul

Thank you Paul,
I am sure you are right concerning the location of these photos. The northern tip of the main island has all the sights worth seeing. Looking at the Google map I get a feeling it is much more crowded and busy and modernized these days. I hope they haven't restored the old city too much. I was also surprised, when preparing this upload, to learn that mainland Ernakulam has grown into such a big city, even having a vast Metro network. I would never have expected that.
