yes, it was the same tree.
I traveled alone across russia, I only got the company of this girl in two days in the island, anyway her english and mine weren't good enough to have a nice communication. sometimes she was talking and I was hearing but not understanding. she would visit north korea few days after and I show here the image of that country at night, with almost not urban lights and she became surprised.. I guess you saw this image someday, it is impressive and talks a lot about local life in that country.

What you write about the difficulties with communication reminds me of the visit to Warsaw of TE-friend Wolfgang, fritzi. He spoke very strange Styrian German and I couldn't understand it at all. And he wanted to chat with the Polish people and me to translate.
I do not know what the photo from North Korea you have in mind.

I presume you know maps a lot. do you remember where NK is located ? in the nocturne view this country looks like an empty area, while south korea looks like an island of lights and china, russia and japan are shining too. this tell much about that country.. this is the image that impressed my chinese friend.
