Great holmertz 2017-06-01 12:40

Hello Paul,
I am sure it was a nice place, but maybe it is slightly too pretty. Even if this is how the locals decided they wanted their village to look, long before the arrival of tourists, now it looks heavily touristy. It's a colourful and lively photo, and I have no complaints about the technical quality, but this time it's my turn to say that I rather prefer the workshop because of the fine patterns of the roofs and the generally nice view of a larger area.
Kind regards,

Default To holmertz: it was heavily touristy

Thank you Gert,

I have long doubted which photo I would choose as main picture.
So I understand your remark.

Only once I walked up and down this street. Some tourists seem to spend their whole day there
I undertake efforts to present visited places without necessarily finding them all very beautiful.

In Salento I have not lost a piece of my heart. It was much too touristy!
Despite this, you were not exploited by the population, hoteliers or restaurators.
For me Salento was the ideal gateway for the park with the wax palms.

Best wishes,
