Hi Tracey
Composition is OK. I have a feeling that you tried to get rid of too much shadows, and the result looks a little bit flat(but it's hard to judge if I haven't seen the original). The halo on the edge of the sky looks artificial. Could you post original scan as workshop?
Well, the photo may not be perfect but I envy you this trip anyway ;-)

Default To Asiulus: Snake photo

Hi Joanna!

You are absolutely correct! This is the first image I tried to minimize the shadows as much as possible. I have received this halo in the sky once before and I have no idea where it comes from (both were film photos). I will try to post the original photo for you to judge. My goal was to draw the snake head out a bit.

Thanks!

I've made some changes in workshop, I hope you'll like them :-)
