Great ellelloo 2009-04-22 12:22

Hej Gunnar,
An excellent photo taking in account that it was taken from a moving bus! A wonderful view and lovely well saturated colours. The WS is even more beautiful, a gem really! From the map view one is coming to the conclusion that people always want to go the shortest possible way. I am thinking that at earlier times the road between Oslo and Gothenburg probably went the route where now goes roads number 22 and 165?
Greetings,
Lasse

Default To ellelloo: Thanks Lasse

I guess you are right. The road along Bullaren looks like the natural way to travel here, even if I believe there was a ferry were now the old bridge was.

I went across this old bridge the first time in 1950, when I was 8 years old. Together with my father and older brother we made a two-days bicycle tour from Koppom to Strömstad via Örje and road 21.

Regards
Gunnar

Default Bicycle tour

Hej Gunnar,
That bike tour sure was a memorable one for a 8 years old boy!
I looked at the map and saw the route passing many lakes. it sure was not a straight way either, but was very winding. :-)
Hälsningar,
Lasse
P.S. +13 deg;C today! Spring finally is here too.
