Good question you're asking there...not so many people out for night life...fascinating. Another very nice one Hugh, he almost seems to be floating, well done.
I have the feeling you need some courage to bike in NY ? But maybe not more than to drive...
Sorry for abruptly changing subject, but as I see motion picture here above, regarding your series in the Chiapas, have you seen "The violin", by Francisco Vargas ?
Night' (for when it's there for you, bien sûr):-)

Hi, Michèle. Cycling in NYC is one of the great stupidities in life, and also one of the great joys. You must be a little crazy to do it. And I do it every day, so I must be more than a little crazy. But you have to be a bit crazy to do a lot of things in this city.
I have not seen "The Violin." Is it about Chiapas? If so, I would be interested. I will look around for it. I lived there for awhile and it is a place close to my heart. Merci et bon soir, -Hugh |

It is about all oppression in that part of the world…happens in Mexico, it’s not specifically mentioned that it is the Chiapas but…
http://www.filmmovement.com/filmcatalog/index.asp?MerchandiseID=106 http://www.jamesweggreview.org/reviews/filmdvdvideo/the_violin.html It's worth looking and if only for the b/w:-), (teasing) Superb. The violinist still lives and is a true one, on the version we rented there was an extremely interesting documentary as well. Would be pleased if you let me know what you think of it… Cheers Michèle |
