Magnificent picture, a fleeting thought captured in high contrast and softness of atmosphere. I wonder what speeds, and diafragm settings you used. Was this taken with flash?

To dialecticon: No flash!
In those days I was a total purist. Since I took it about 41 years ago you can bet I don't remember the shutter speed or f stop, but it was probably f1.4 on my 50mm lens. Nowadays I am using a Nikon D70 and LOVE the SB-800 flash. Times change and so does technology. Of course, I doubt she knew I photographed her which wouldn't happen if I had used flash.
