Hi Dan
I know exactly where these sea planes are. i've thought about captureing the same photo, but havn't gotten around to it yet.
the compo is great, i like the linear look, also with the concrete walkway being linear aswell. It even has the same yellow as the planes
wonderfully composed...thats what makes this photo so effective.
the only possible critique would be to include the full width of the airplane wings...but thats nitpicking.

To macjake: Hi Craig..
Yes, I'm a sucker for the seaplanes. I take them whenever I'm back as I find them more convenient then the Ferries to the island where my family is.
Including the full width of the wings was actually my hardest decision with this shot, but doing so would have put the bodies of the planes centre frame which I don't think would have made for as strong a composition with the bodies at a third. No worries, I nit pick all the time! ;-) Have a great weekend! - Dan
