Hello Gert,
This priest looks at you a little suspiciously.
I can imagine the tour where someone constantly says 'Hanuman', 'Shiva' etc. and he assumes that you have received an awful lot of information.
Another part of such a tour might be that the man points to a place and says 'Photo!'. Since the other visitors he once showed around took a photo at that place, he wants to take away all doubts and point out the most suitable place right away.

Thank you Paul for this comment, and the other one.
I was surprised to read in my diary the other day that I actually gave this priest, or whatever he was, the huge sum of 5 rupees. I noted that he exchanged a glance with another man, some caretaker I believe, indicating that this was several times more than he had expected. So the note was wrong. But at least I overpaid him with open eyes. ;-) Have a nice Sunday, Gert
