Hi Paul,
TrekEarth is a perfect place for people who like to travel but cannot. That is why I loved it from the beginning, because I could never afford it. Now in the Covid times this is even more true: it is a perfect place for people who dream about travel but cannot do it in this moment.
You can pick any country in the world, a region and visit it.
Charming village here with the church certainly having a unique architecture.
The background has such a nice pattern!

Thank you Mariusz,
I also find the geographic arrangement that TrekEarth uses to show photos an excellent idea. In the past, often members have left TE to post their pictures on another photo site. Indeed, I have already visited sites where the average quality of the photos is better than here. But the intent is completely different. Nowhere did I find TE's layout and ease of searching. Nor the intention of 'Learning about the world through photography'. I even visited a site with fantastic pictures but where you heard nothing about the photo itself. I seriously wonder what people switching to other sites were doing on TE all those years ... If TE disappeared, it would surely leave a gap on internet for people who like to travel.
