Hello Jorge,
My first impression is that the deepest and largest freshwater lake in the world is located in a beautiful and desolate landscape.
The distant view creates a feeling of vastness and unspoilt nature.
Since you're talking about other passengers in the same car, I suppose this was a public transport journey.

I bought a tour to know the area of the lake and when the car arrived to pick me up I thought it was the car of the tour company, but it was only an usual car that do the transportation of any people to that zone. take care jorge

I found a tour to the baikal, there weren't so much options. the page was something rustic and I was afraid it would be a bad tour. despite everything it worked, they found me a seat in a public transport, they found me a place to rest in a guesthouse with nice food and I had a tour of one day. take care jorge
