Hi Keith,
I have visited salinas on the neighbouring La Palma island, the one which is in news these days. This is my photo of the salinas:

I have to admit it is not easy to take a good photo of them because they are so flat. Maybe from a drone it would be more interesting?
I like your capture due to the multiple colors. The salt itself seems to be more colorful than on La Palma. Although in the shop they had a variety of colors.
Here you also have lovely colors of the sea.

I was fortunate that the road past the salt flats is elevated so helped to get some height and therefore show more of the pans.
