Great pauloog 2009-07-29 13:41

Hello Warren,
Not the best picture from a technically popint of view - and I suppose the dfisturbing reflection comes from a flash ? - but an extremely interesting content. I didn'y know that so much of the Tibetan heritage was concentrated in one place. Let us hope that the Chinese will preserve and make freely available this heritage after so many destructions in Tibet...
Regards,
Paul

Default To pauloog: No flash

Hi Paul
As it's supposedly forbidden to take photos there (I guess to preserve the paintings and the atmosphere), I didn't use any flash. Photo was taken at 5 pm when the sun shone through the window. I tried to stand in front of the light to block reflection, but in that case I didn't have enough light left to take decent photo, the noise being too important.
PS : Dege printing house is applying for Unesco world heritage
