Hello Paul,
What an amazing, archaeological site!
You have given the scene immediate interest by placing the double arch right in the f/g, ensuring that viewers have to go beneath it to explore other features.
Both your photograph show excellent clarity.
Mosaics are such wonderful artistic creations!
One has just been uncovered in the U.K. which depicts Achilles dragging Hector behind his chariot. No such scene has ever been discovered before!
Thank you for sharing these,
Bev :-)

Thank you Beverley,
Where in the U.K. was that mosaic discovered? Very recently? Kind regards, Paul |

Hi Paul, the villa, with the mosaic floor was found last year in Rutland.
It was featured on an excellent programme called ‘Digging for Britain’, where all the latest archaeological discoveries are shown. Kind regards, Bev 😊 |
