Hello Daniel, Yes the fiaker is an essential part of the tourist scene in Vienna and Salzburg. This is a lovely view of this horse drawn vehicle. I can tell you I have seen some animal abuse in their use in Salzburg on a warm day, and the police were involved to make sure the driver provided his horses water. Did you enjoy Vienna? I lived there all of 1946 and again 1952-1954, in those days each of the four occupying powers maintained a presence there. Wonderful city. Regards

Sorry to hear about the horses, I guess not every one is very kind with animals. The city is quite nice, I didn't liked the lack of green space, to much cement and asphalt. But, overall, Vienna is great!
