Hi Ally, This picture reminds me that when I was there with my friend, she did not like these rocks because it looked like osteoporosis. Nice composition. Lovely sky behind the leaves. Striking crowds. I hope that in my next trip there will be no tourists at all. It will be fun.

Nice to known that your friend have different opinion. Some of the Emperors are crazy with these unique Stones, even some of the stones are origin from far away especially from SuZhou, Tai Hu District, some of the Emperor spend high delivery cost to move those stones from JiangNan District to decorate their royalty park. Decorate garden with unique stones are popular since Song Dynasty (960 - 1279 year). Thought impossible that the Forbidden City is tourists less, the only way to have less tourists is be the first visitor of the day, wait at the entrance before it open in early morning. ![]() Regards, Ally |
