Default Unsharp mask

Is using unsharp mask prohibited under the TOS?

Hi Sagarneel;

Have you had an image removed?
'Excessive' is the general consensus when it comes to Post Production. If you use the maximum of anything in Photoshop (contrast, saturation etc.), it can change the image so drastically that it becomes something probably deemed 'Excessive'. It's basically at the moderators/ administators discretion I believe. They're probably trying to keep the site focused on 'Photography' and not 'Photoshop'.

Cheers and have a good weekend!

It's even recommended to use. See answer 15 in FAQ page it specifically says that "It is recommended to sharpen photos before uploading photos to TrekEarth."
