Hello Bev,
I didn't really think of the double meaning of the title, I was just wondering why there was a fish on the head, but now that you mention it... ;-) It's a curious sculpture but quite attractive and certainly one that would make me stop for a closer look. I actually thought the plinth was almost as fine as the sculpture. I like the faded paint and the texture of the wood. It really is made of wood, isn't it?

Yes, I'm pretty sure that the plinth is made of wood. I wondered if he had intentionally created such a strong contrast between this quite rough, paint-flaking, plinth and the smooth, shiny patina of the sculpture. Have a good day, Bev :-)
