Great holmertz 2020-09-25 2:44

Hello Bev,
There was a glimpse of this building in your last photo but it's really interesting to see this closer view. It is a beautiful building, so full of fine ornaments on the windows and the half columns. Thanks to the light and sharpness there is a clear 3D effect on the walls. The persons passing by, and the man sitting in the corner, are of course not necessary for the image, but they certainly enliven the view.

Thanks for your comments earlier. The bridge looks the same, but I found out that it has been repainted twice since 1964. Difficult to see in a B&W photo.
Kind regards,
Gert

Default To holmertz: Tower Bridge

Thanks, Gert, for your thoughtful critique.

Tower Bridge looks much brighter now than it did when you took this photograph, when it would have been chocolate brown.
It is mainly blue and white, now,but that really didn't matter as your photograph was black and white.

Have a good day, Bev
