Yes, very inteesting curves here, thanks for displaying them. You seem to have made an effort to obtain a decent vantage point - judging by the low angle - but somehow it hasn't quite gelled into more than a documentary shot. Maybe b&w would help?

Many thanks for your crit, I know what you mean though, the photo lacks a certain something which I can't quite put my finger on...
IMHO the DOF isn't quite deep enough 'cos the back log lacks crispness, but as I said the light was going so I was struggling. Evening sunlight would have enhanced this no end, but beggars can't be choosers :-) You were right about the low angle, the camera has a flip out screen and i was holding my new camera (very firmly) almost in the stream bed!
