Hello Jean,
There are lots of beautiful views inside the Uffizi gallery, but obviously also through the windows. The Ponte Vecchio doesn't look quite as touristy from this side. With some imagination I can see it like it may have been hundreds of years ago. Among the beauties of this view are the zigzagging brick roofs, the several bridges west of the old bridge and the reflections in the river. The well saturated colours are very nice and the larger version reveals a very good sharpness.
Maybe you were interrupted by something when you wrote the title?
Kind regards,
Gert

Thanks, Craig, for pointing out that missing e typo. That's much appreciated!
You are right about your remark on (not) travelling Europeans, then again when we travelled in the States and visited this or that museum, often we heard locals responding that they really wanted to visit those nearby places themselves too, yet somehow never got around to actually doing it. But we have made up our minds to visit Paris more often. We only wish the trains were a bit less expensive, as we don't like driving and flying for such a short distance is something we really don't want to do either. Benny |
