Hello John,
Oh, you have taken me back down memory lane!
I remember this place really well.
For such a relatively small place, the Opera House was a significant building. The other was The Crescent, if I remember rightly, which was surrounded by fencing because it was being renovated.
We did have to put our hearts into the photography here, being the only day with a hint of sunshine.
Your photograph shows excellent clarity, with superb details of the facade of the building, including sign details which explain its function.
The Winter Gardens, nearby, are well included, showing a real contrast of materials and styles, for different purposes.
And, as we were always encouraged to include, a strong f/g triangle.

To holmertz: good guess
5 frames per seconds to get this shot. Almost 50 frames in 2 or 3 times but at least 2 or 3 good enough pictures. That's the way to get a good attitude of the birds.
