Hello Finlay,

So you've had some snow already in Aberdeen?

A beautiful autumn scene brimming over with lovely warm colours of autumn - browns, reds, yellows - and in sharp contrast to the sprinkling of white snow in the mid ground.

And, yes, I think many would agree that this time of the year provides some of the best opportunities for interesting photography. All we need to do is to hope that we don't have too many high winds to strip the trees of their lovely colourful leaves for a few weeks yet!

Beautiful!

Kind Regards,

John.

Default To tyro: snow

Hello John

It was a short visit to Aberdeen last weekend to visit our son who is up there for a uni placement at the moment. I believe there had been a significant fall of snow on Friday, but by the time we arrived Saturday lunchtime there were only a few patches left.

It makes you aware that winter is just round the corner though!!!

Regards
Finlay

Default Aberdeen.........

Hello Finlay,

Yes, I agree, it's getting colder! And I just hope the forecast of a really bad winter like the ones we had two and three years ago aren't true.

So your son is at uni in Aberdeen? Two of my daughters went there and they enjoyed the place very much. But at times it can feel like the coldest place on Earth.

Kind Regards,

John.
