Hello Daniel,
This is a very interesting photo. I had to make some research to find out this is called Brantingtorget (Branting Square, named after Hjalmar Branting, the first Social Democratic Prime minister in the early 1920's). It's really just a courtyard, not a real square, and parts of the original buildings were pulled down during WW2, so this rounded building must have been built in the late 40's. I guess it is mainly used by the government administration. I have never seen it but now I found a reason to look it up. You made a very good composition with a surprisingly fine winter light. I really like the glimpses of "real" Gamla stan in the background.

To lousat: Brasov e Transilvania
ciao Luciano
dopo il volo da Malpensa per Bucarest e due giorni per visitare la città abbiamo affittato un'auto e siamo partiti per la Transilvania, tappe:Curtea de Arges, strada Transfagarasan, Sibiu, Sighisoara, Brasov. Ovunque splendidi boschi, paesaggio incantevole, città romantiche e anche un po' misteriose. La più bella è stata Sighisoara, una vera perla in cui non riuscivamo a smettere di scattare foto. Il viaggio è tra l'altro stato piuttosto economico. Per la foto: ho dovuto raddrizzarla per cui è saltato via la fine del campanile, peccato. grazie del post ciao, Giacomo
