Hi Gert
I recognise both the bg buildings. This must have been taken from Knights Islet. (Riddarholmen) The red and orange stripes and the yellow flowers add some hot colours to contrast with the pale blue tones of the water and sky. Tfs!

Thank you for your critique, Malgo.
Those aquilega are very prolific and seed themselves everywhere! We have had a very dry spell, recently. No rain to speak of for well over two weeks so snails have not been a big problem. I also have lots of robins and the occasional thrush who help to keep the numbers down! WE have invested in nematodes some years, which are very effective but expensive and need to be replaced every year. Other than that, I throw the snails into my recycling bin and squash slugs!! Night time is the best time to catch them! Kind regards, Bev :-) |

Hi Bev, I do not know the method with nematodes. In Polish snails and slugs have the same name. Snails are not so bad, I hate slugs, they are horrible.
Best regards MAlgo |
