Great tyro 2014-08-07 8:24

Hello Gunnar,

If Warmland isn't necessarily warm, then I guess that Nötön or Nut Island is not somewhere where nuts grow either?

I remember your "Twin Peaks" picture and now I suspect that that picture was taken from a point a bit farther along this shore line to the right of this jetty.

Not much sign of human activity in this picture but the wonderful peace and calmness which pervades it more than makes up for any lack of people. The lovely zig-zag of the lines of the jetty lead the eye nicely into the centre of the lake and onward to the distant trees and hills. Gorgeous light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness, especially when viewed at its "proper" size of 1500 pixels wide.

Kind Regards,

Default To tyro: Thanks John

The Twin Peaks picture was actually taken about 50 metres south from the position where I took this picture (to the left).

By the way, the little boy in that picture was actually bathing naked but I was afraid that might offend the TE administrators. So his green trunks are photoshopped...

Default Very wise......and very clever too!

Hi Gunnar,

That was a very wise move - and a very cleverly executed one too! I've had a look at that picture again and the fact that you "added" that little item of clothing isn't apparent at all!

Kind Regards,
