Hello Mariusz,
I find your photograph very poignant, especially with the cross featured so strongly, in the f/g; it is almost as if it is linking to the cross on the dome and embracing the people between them!
The photograph is clear and well saturated.
I would have liked the lamp to be absent from the composition but maybe, that would not have been possible.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Bev,
I have actually shared most of my favourite photos which I took in Lviv already so now I am trying to rescue some of them which are all missing something. This one I took in rush because there was a big group of tourists pouring into this scene. So even more than the lamp I was bothered by some dark silhouettes in the foreground. I trimmed most of that part but one head is missing in the foreground... I was part of an organized group so my flexibility was limited but I would really like to return there someday. Sadly it seems Russian army is bombing the West Ukraine today, first time in this area so I am worried they may want to bomb this beautiful city as well, as it is on the escape route to the west, to the border with Poland. I meant one head is still present in the foreground (dark oval shade)

Thank you for your thoughts, Mariusz.
I fear there will be so much of beauty in Ukraine that will be ruined. How sad that the unfounded fears of one overzealous madman should cause so much death and destruction! Regards, Bev 😊 |
