Great adramad 2019-12-23 11:19

Hi Marie Louise.
Wow ..... Awesome POV that captures almost totally this tall and wonderful campanile, that beauty of decoration and that good taste of the artists who executed it.
Very beautiful color, good management of brightness and sharpness.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and All the best for the New Year 2020.
With all my love.

P.S. I don't know if I'm going to continue uploading photos to TE, I don't know if you got to see my penultimate photo of a pair of kittens.

They erased me because they told me, that no pet photos were allowed, I replied that it was not a pet photo, they were street cats, that they had to live in the ruins of the castle, that I had previously uploaded and that the note said .

I am very indignant because I can't stand the injustices, I'm tired of seeing pictures of cats, dogs, birds and many other animals and let them pass.

So I will think about it during these Holidays and I also have the house change at the beginning of January, what encourages me is the contact with all of you .... We will see ...

Default To jmdias: Madeira

Hi Jorge,
Madeira is certainly much closer to me and therefore much cheaper.
What bothered me about it is that is was higher than Canaries and further into the cold Atlantic.
That means the temperatures are rarely hot. The landscapes are probably similar to Canaries but it is colder...
Great for hiking but less for enjoying the sun.
What was your impression? Have you been to Canaries?

Default madeira

no, I didn't visit canaries.
madeira has a mild climate, it is considered the best of the world because it is never hot or cold. the south side is tropical and the north side if subtropical. I guess madeira is much more green than canaries and its higher peak it is less than 1900 meters altitude.
. beaches aren't the main attraction of madeira, but there are nice ones in porto santo, the sister island, that is arid.

take care

Thank you Jorge. I think it confirms what I thought.
We like to change holiday destinations and the proximity is quite important factor which very much affects the price as well. So I have a feeling that sooner or later we will visit Madeira as well
Merry Christmas,
