A question on Astrology

I have always been fascinated by astrology and DIDI just told me he is a Gemini. It made me wonder about the birth signs of TE members and if it has anything to do with their style, what they CHOOSE to photograph, how they present their pictures, the notes they write. OR if you think it has any bearing at all. Some people think it's just a bunch of hooey anyway. :)) I am a Pisces and my horoscope has always said photography would be a good creative outlet for me and I have ALWAYS loved it. Even before I knew anything about astrology. Just curious if any of you believe it HAS any influence or think it's just bogus.

I believe in two things;
1) the only truth is that it's true that nothing is true (so everyday is effectively an april-1st day for me, except for the last one:);
2) you die
the rest is all imagination; one part you create yourself, the rest you comfortably share with others.
So for me it's bogus, for you it's not.

So, the horoscope should say all people born end of july have a tendancy to become writers of phsycological crap. Oh, and I should be carefull with money and wait to make that phonecall, but you knew that one already of coarse ;)

I'm Taurus and my horoscopes always told me that I'll be tall, slim, Latino style hunk, olive skin, dark eyes, head full of thick, curly hair, everlasting lover and a heir to Bill Gates fortune.
Still waiting…dammit, full of hopes and expectations…

And it cost me only five bucks. Hey…worth every penny.

there are lots of people who believe in something, but not a lot who believe in my nr.1); and if they do, thy live far away on cold mountain tops drinking green tea all the time. Well, the countrysite is not much different here.

By the way, next time you want to make 5 bugs, tell george what he wants to hear. ('get closer' or something like that)

My father in law was an expert in astrology, he usually wrote the theme considering the time of birth and the position of the country.
But he was able to predict only great lines of somebody life.
But how to win in a gambling casino it's impossible.
But he was right for me about photography.

Hi, DIDI,
I think that's why so many people don't find it... believable. There is sooo much more than the 'sun sign'. Waaaay more than I have the patience to delve into. (Being also a dilletante at astrology, LOL.) I say - I am a Pisces, but... there are many, many traits of the Pisces I do not have according to the general description. So unless you are interested enough to look deeper, I can see why people scoff.

Sorry but my father in law is in another world since 15 years; Astrology is not my speciality, I have some books who describe only general lines.
But if you have some interest wu can talk about it directly by &mail out of this thread.
I hope that Adam is not offended because this subject is out of photography.
About photography, I began with some school friends since I was 12 years old.
