Great daddo 2014-08-27 15:19

Hi Eugene. Such a bright, lighthearted image.Even the portly woman seems to be flying with the birds.I wonder if the chain links (if that is what they are)on the man's ankle signifies the fate of the Indios or has it to do with slavery? I didn't think the latter applied to Ecuador.Anyway, they all seem to be free as the birds. I wonder if the image would have had greater impact if she was walking in the same direction.Regards. Klaudio.

Thumbs up To emka: Visit to Poland...

Malgo,

Thanks for your view on my upload from Kraków. Yes, it was very nice to visit Poland. I haven't been there since 1969, so I thought it was about time to update my image of your country. And of course much is different. Mostly for the better (except for the first 70 kms on A18 from Cottbus ).

We paid a visit to Wroclaw, which seemed very interesting. And Kraków was lovely. Very friendly and lots of people around, despite the late hour. And you're right, the next day was crowded.

I most certainly would like to return to Warszawa and the Old Town, which was beautiful already then. And that's where I first saw the televised images of a man on the moon in July -69 .

Best regards,
Kaj
