Hi Dave;

Technically speaking- this is basically a flawless shot.
Horizon is perfectly level (although very slight bowing in the middle which I mgiht be tempted to correct), pin point sharpness, the sky is kind of boring- but nothing you could have done about that. I like the placement of the horizon- perfectly 1/3rd of the shot. I might be tempted to boost the mids slightly and add a frame but otherwise it's very well taken.

Hi my friend,

the problem here was the sky I think. The light coming from left was hard! The polarizer in this case increased the problem...in my opinion. Well I love the foreground :)

Kristaps,

what happened to you? You got converted? All of the sudden defending the use of a polarizing filter? It seems that you got some talk into from Kristine :-)
