Great Lewis88 2012-10-05 3:29

Hi Peter

I'm beginning to think I need to visit your part of the world - we just don't get light like this in (old) South Wales. Far too often we just get grey cloudy skies.

The composition of this photo is perfect - lighting, reflections, shapes, composition. All helped by fabulous colours. Please don't stop sharing such beauty with the rest of us.

Regards

Neil Lewis

Default To Lewis88: Colours of Summer

Hi Neil,
Thank you for your kind words. I haven't been involved on Trek Earth for quite a long time, it was very refreshing to get your comment.
You are right about the light down here, it is very bright but also very hard. You'll notice that pretty well all of the posts from the photographers here in Australia are very contrasty. Yes, the colours are rich, but the shadow areas are very dark compared to what we see from the European photographers.

I'll go and have a look through your gallery.

Best Wishes

Peter
