Hi Paul,
This is quite an interesting scene with ladies in colorful clothes at work. It must be interesting to work all day long in water. I can not even imagine the lifetime of the rice plant and why it is always planted in the watery ground. Nice natural surrounding and great light.

Thank you Mariusz,
There are also types of rice that you can easily grow on dry land. Yet in Asia rice has been successfully grown in flooded fields for thousands of years. Growing rice in low water has a lot of advantages compared to on dry land. For example, there is no need to pull weeds. Weed killers are unnecessary. In addition, in the rice fields people can simultaneously grow fish that eat certain insects. Kind regards, Paul
