Hi John,
At first I noticed how sharp it is from front to back, and thought this this must be high ISO shot. Only then I saw the grain. So, not a bad choice in my opinion. Symmetric framing looks good of course, and I like all these golden tones.
I made a workshop. Of course removing grain has some effect on sharpness too.

Thank you, Kari, for your kind words and also for an excellent workshop! That is definitely an improvement.
 I have never tried that technique of using smart blut, so it's something to keep in mind!I think the main problem (apart from too high ISO) was the fact that most of the photo was very underexposed and dark and required a lot of brightening in Photoshop - that always causes a lot of noise.
