Good graffer 2008-03-11 6:10

Hello Ujjal,

I live not far from Bath, and know this view well.

This is an excellent composition with good colours, but it is not very sharp. You don't say what your exposure settings were, but using a smaller aperture [higher F number] would have produced a greater depth of field, to have the FG flowers in focus, as well as the distant part of the image.

This upload is only 53 kb - you are allowed 200kb, which would give a much higher quality image.

If you are using Photoshop or PS Elements, when you have sized your image to 800 pixels longest side, use the "save for web" option, where you can adjust the file size as near 200kb as you can get.

I look for to seeing more of your pictures.

Regards,

Peter.

Default To graffer: Thanks Peter

I was using a small camera which had its limitations. I kept the foreground flowers intentionally out of focus as I focused at the ground in the distance. I saved my picture as 800 x 600 pixels. However will surely keep your advice in mind. I will really appreciate if you visit my other photos in TE.

regards

Ujjal
