Hello Dave!
Good composed picture of Atitlán lake, though this light won't allow for much contrast. Well captured water colour.
Concerning your note:
Of course, in Canada you do have hundreds of lakes embedded in spectacular sceneries. Guatemalan people are proud of what they see as 'the lake' in their country. We don't have that many. On the other hand, I still remember how Atitlán was 40 years ago: the whole setting was much more pituresque than nowadays.

Hi Rene, thanks for your comments. I certainly meant no offense to the Guatemalan people with the comment about the beauty of the lake; I loved this place - both the beautiful scenery and the incredible hospitality of the people we encountered in Panajachel, Santiago and San Pedro (and elsewhere in the country.)
