Great avene 2008-02-04 13:02

love this shot, the dark colours, the soft light (is that gaussian blur or Orton technique? or is that the way your camera caught the scene?) together with the old sewing machine that looks abandoned creates a very nice mood, certainly nostalgic, as you describe in your note. I also like a lot the unobtrusive metallic sheen to the keys, it's a nice accent.
excellent work, Oleksandr, my compliments.

Default To avene: is that gaussian blur or Orton technique?

Kristin, very thanks for you notice but I don't remember exactly how I post-processed this picture...:(((... sorry!
It was may be one year ago...:)))... today I accidentally find this.
I rember only that I am playing with layers, blending changes, gaussian blur, sepia, lens correction filter (vignette) and after all in Light Artist... Sorry, Kristine, I can't replay this picture too... :(((

thanks for the response, it's at least an indication in which direction you were working. and whatever you did, it fits the story of the photo perfectly :)
