Great sheepyak 2006-11-07 1:36

Hi Sean,

I really enjoy the colors of the clothes the women are wearing and how they contrast with their dull surroundings. Did you desaturate their surroundings or are they really those colors? Either way, I like it. One thing I think I would prefer is that the photo were zoomed out more. The women's feet are cut off, and it looks like the background is hilly, and I am curious how high the hills are. If they are high, it might be interesting to see how they dwarf the women. It also looks like someone is standing to the left, and I would either like to see that person, or have the photo cropped on the left. Just some thoughts. TFS,

Chelsea

Default To sheepyak: hi sheepyak

Hi sheepyak, It's a nice and meaningful name. it's more connected to Tibet, Sheep and Yak. I dont know if sheep and Yak are what you are named after. Yes. as you said. I desatrated the shot a little bit, the actual color of this photo would have been more colorful, the grassland was yellow due to the season of Autumn. I didnt have the photo zoomed out is because that there were too many others around the two women, and my intention was to only put these two women in my frame. Many thanks for your modest criticques.
