Great Aido 2006-01-29 9:55

Nice image, good shutter speed and good colours. I think the POV is too low though, I would have shot from a higher POV, got more floor in and cut out the ugly ceiling.

Default To Aido: shot from a higher POV

Thanks for your critique that I totally agree with you. It's a shame to have the ugly ceiling included.

This is my confession:
I shot this at the Chinese Festival where I wasn't invited. I just drove by and saw the sign, then stopped and walked into an area where they spoke Chinese language that I do not understand. When the students performed the show, I moved closer to the stage and clicked from my standing position. All chairs behind me have been occupied by others (that I cannot use one to have higher POV) whom I didn't bother to see if they are VIPs. After this shot, I turned around to say my "sorry" to a gentleman at the chair right on my back. Only at that moment, I realized his face and the best I could was to repeat my apology, "I am so sorry, your honor".

Happy New Year to You!

Thanh

Bad luck bumping into the Mayor of Houston! Happy new year to you too Thanh, I hope it's a good one for you.
