Great CliffW 2005-04-23 21:49

Funny shot Brien. He must be a part time caver. I remember seeing blind cave frogs from my old days in Ozark caves, he looks like he's got an eye on you though. Curious what sort of tripod worked for you in the cave, if you don't mind? Could be pretty handy for tricky locations.

Default To CliffW: tripod

I have a slik sprint pro GM model SBH-100
I love this tripod for its versatility and lightness.
It can be set at super low angles from about 8 inches off the ground up to over 6ft I think.

Its a bit long for caving but a great compact tripod so I carry it anyway.

Thanks Brien, I'll check it out. I figured any tripod that was workable in a cave should travel pretty well. Mine's decent for home, but kind of bulky dead weight on the road.
