Yes Miguel, a person like you, who has traveled extensively, must not miss this part of India. In dry season, the place is really a 'joy forever'. According to a local teacher, rain is more enjoyable here, but I did not risk that.
By the way, latest calculations say, the wettest place is now a village called Mawsinram, a few kms west of Cherrapunjee. Thanks for being with me, Alekhya
