Great LamCam 2009-04-23 14:44

Hello Bev,
Is that the pub known as 'Herders'? If so, I used to visit it fairly regularly in the 1970's when I lived in Cullingworth.
This scene, although lacking in any strong focal point, certainly gives a good general feel of the landscape of the area. The colours, as usual, are very true to nature.
All the best....Maggie

Default To LamCam: On the way to Haworth ...

Yes, Maggie, it is ... or was The Herders.
It has been bought by a private company and turned into housing; an unfortunate end to a once popular pub!

Many thanks for your feedback.
Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Oh dear - this shows how long it has been since I was last on that road, although I have ventured as far as Scar Top on foot from Haworth a few times. At one time a building such as that would have been considered far too remote for 'normal' housing. Anyhow, now I have been warned and I won't be turning up on their doorstep demanding a meal and a drink!
