Default To BlueRaven: hidden canyon


Thanks for the thoughts. Canyon De Chelly? Well, I've not ever been there myself - my mention of it in relation to this shot was not really in respect of the colouring but the curvature of the wall, which reminded me so much of the oft repeated shot of a big curving canyon wall (probably with a wide angle) with an ancient dwelling at the base from that location. Is it called "White House" ruins?

Hi Colin,

You're right about the curvature of the wall at Canyon de Chelly - I once posted a (pretty bad) picture of the location you're talking about (that was before I got my digital camera and my scans always turned out quite poorly). It's indeed White House ruins. My shot is here:
I'll have to check my pictures from the last trip to see if I can come up with a better quality shot...
