Great rgarrigus 2009-03-01 4:28

Hi Linz,

What's not to like about a gorgeous view like this? Those myriad blues deserve photographing time and again and I am so thankful you chose to post. I wonder if there might have been other compositional options that would make this even stronger? I tried a workshop or two in the spirit of experimentation (hope you don't mind) but of course it is always better to get it in camera.

Cheers!

Default To rgarrigus: thanks!

I'd not really thought about cropping before, but after seeing the ones you did [esp. the 2nd one] Ive gone through several of my other photos and made them better!

Hi Linz,

Brill! Always better to try a few different formats during the shoot though as cropping after the fact reduces the amount of image data and thus the size of prints you can make. If you're sticking with 4x6 prints and web images you can sometimes get several images from a single shot :)

Cheers!
