Truth be told, it wasn't nearly as dark as it appears in the shot, but this is what the D40 did in Program mode. I was using a tripod. I like it too. Thanks, Dave

Thanks for your comments. I think what you see as grainyness is actually just the mist. It was very heavy, and is prominent in the entire top half of the shot (not just on the water.)...
