To emka: Gariannonum,

It was suggested that this Roman Fort was called Gariannonum, but because there was only one reference to the name, not everyone is convinced.

This fort...

To ikeharel: Hello Ike,

It took me a long time to find it, using Google Maps.

You need to go to Whitefriargate and the view is from Monument Bridge, very close to a large Primark outlet.

I hope that helps.

Thank you for your critique, Paul.
It was curious; there were people about but when I came to take my photographs, everyone seemed to have disappeared ... or they had vanished inside the museum!

Thank you for your sensitive comments, Chris.

Nowadays, there always has to be someone to air their views, no matter how much it may hurt others! Respect seems like a swear word!

Good ideas to...

To emka: The Gallery Classroom

Thank you for your interest, Malgo.

To PaulVDV: Baysgarth House Museum

Thank you, Paul.

My warm regards,
Bev...
