you've got a D200, and with the built in sharpening you should be getting nice crisp images straight...

when you develop a roll of film, the film shop change the chemicals and tweak the solutions to improve your picture.
using photoshop to edit your photos is the same thing.

i had the polariser on my lens. i haven't done any saturation to this shot, only contrast and sharpening.
so either your memory is faulty, or the extra colour was caused by my polariser....
