I love this image, with the brooding sky. The colors and perspective come to life. I have to admit, the title makes me think of an old Starship song, "We Built This City" which I presume is referring to San Francisco.

I enjoy this picture, I really like the composition. With the rocks in the foreground and the deep red lighthouse, standing high in the image, it is well framed, and makes the lighthouse have it proper prominence.

This literally puts everything into perspective. For whatever reason here on TE, it seems that anything "American Patriotic" is played down. I appreciate the honor of the red, white and blue. I also enjoy the picture. As my father, and all of my uncles were veterans of WWII, I thank you.

The first thing I notice when viewing the picture is the various textures. The time of day when this was photographed provides such an emphasis on the surface textures. It really gives the eyes something to play with.
The muted colors provide just enough extra information to give a sense of reality.

This is a great image, it shows the area very well, and with it's outstanding exposure, the lights of the city draw the viewer in, yet the mountains remain visible in the far distance. The layers of colors are very pleasing, and I find the shadows of the trees in the foreground adds to the sense of depth!

This is a great image. The light, the color, texture, shape and the sense of space. The perspective adds to the vastness of the space. And there is enough line and space to keep the eye happy!

How has this escaped getting points? Is this and HDR image? I love the exposure and the color, and arching shapes of the fountains. I might consider leveling the image and possibly a little different crop. Nice job.

This is such an interesting image. Obviously the color grabs the viewers attention, then the shapes take over, keeping the viewers eye in the center of the image, finally to view the birds who continue the circular motion.

This is a very fun shot. I like how the fireworks are coming from the street center, and that the exposure kept the foreground detailed without loosing any detail on the fireworks.

This is a very nicely composed image. Stunning! I'm not sure why no-one has commented yet, but I am happy to. My only thoughts would be to try a little more local contrast to get some more separation of the shapes, but not too much or the softness will be gone.

This is a great shot. The yellow almost flowing like a river, with the complimentary green and blue (nice combination on a color wheel).

My only thought may be a little more contrast in the clouds.
