Very nice impression from the festival, Takero. Good detail not only on the artistic print of the uniform, but also the surface texture of the cloth is quite well rendered. The strong tele-lens also gave you a fine DOF to offset the guy in the background. Well seen.

As a workshop, and as a present for you, I will post a photo that I took two months ago of these jizo statues at the same location. Sorry for the small size, I don't have a bigger one available at the moment.

Hello John. This looks like a pleasant place that you are well presenting with the wide-angle lens that strengthens a feeling of depth and perspective, as usual in your photos. The contrast is also good, and the reflections are well utilized to amplify a quiet overall mood. I am however a little disturbed by two things: (1) the photo looks quite oversharpened, and (2) the framing/cropping is a bit unfortunate, leaving little space for the rooftops and treetops in the upper area, but instead giving a little too much attention to the not overly interesting foreground. I hope you don't mind my honest opinion here.

Delightful view from the old village, Pierre. Rich details in the vivid color setting, and I like the colorful signs of human life added by the flowers and umbrella. It appears to be a quiet and relaxing village.

The workshop photo is also nice, I even think it is a bit better than this main photo here.

Nice lighting in this one, Chris, and I know the bridge close to the "Samson Mall" and Visitor Info Center from which to have this pleasant view with the red-roofed lodge buildings in front of the grand scenery. Well captured.

Hi Susanna. Very good this one, I have always wanted to see this city and the famous old trams, and I hole that one day we will. This is well framed and your post-processing turned out pretty darn good. As mentioned by some others, the dash of sunlight on the tram provides that special touch that we always want to find for our photos :o). Have a nice weekend.

Hi Neyvan. Good idea to use the low POV along the car tracks to create an impression of perspective and depth, as the viewer's eye is wandering towards the fine scenery in the background. Good rendition of the landscape features in the fine sunlight, well captured.

Hallo Frank. Vielen Dank für Dein ausführliches Posting, inklusive der beiden Workshop-Bilder. Dieses ist in der Tat ein Anblick, wie er sich auch dem Japan-Besucher vor Ort des Öfteren bietet. Das Foto beinhaltet einen guten graphischen Aspekt, und einen schönen Kontrast zwischen dem akkurat angeordneten Kies und der grünen Bepflanzung. Wie es aussieht, lohnt es sich, diesen Ort für einen zukünfigen Besuch in Berlin vorzumerken. Danke, und schönes Wochenende!

Hello Denise. Good stitching work to provide this panoramic impression from the peaceful and quiet Greek port. Delightful array of colorful houses, and good use of the ships and boats on both sides to limit the framing. Maybe you can still add a large version of this photo, I am sure that it will be nice to watch.
