The warm red and yellow lights create a good atmosphere in the blue hour and the lake creates perfect reflections. I can imagine the excitement among the people gathered down there to amuse themselves.

I have a photo of myself as a child standing with one foot in Sweden and the other in Norway, but of course this is a much greater event. And it's in colours, with a nice background and many other persons.
It's good to see you posting again after such a long absence. Hopefully being active here again could distract you a little bit from your sorrow and worries. Losing 10 kilos doesn't sound so bad. I am sure many persons would envy you. ;-)

This is a very nice photo with quite a lot of fine details to watch. You will think I am crazy, but my favourite part of the photo is the white wall with the lady in blue coat and the large flower pots. I might have cropped that part into a separate photo. Of course the church and the monument are more important, but all these elements together form a very good view. The persons sitting by the fountain are also nicely included even though they are squeezed into the corner. The fine light and colours also make this a highly enjoyable picture, and the tighter composition of the WS is also very nice.

It's a fascinating scenery but just as fascinating are the signs of ordinary human life inside these rocks. They could easily have been overlooked if you hadn't pointed them out. A few years ago a very good film called "Winter Sleep" was shot in this area, partly inside such modern cave dwellings. It's a long and slow film but very cleverly made. It was awarded the Golden Palm at Cannes in 2014 and should be available from streaming sites.

Plensa's statues seem to be found everywhere, even in a few places in Stockholm, and this one is immensely more entertaining than the traditional statue in the WS. The two men make this photo immensely more entertaining than it would have been without them.

I have seen a number of English pubs but this looks very different. Maybe those I frequented in the 1960's were already too trendy or posh. This looks more like somebody's very large sitting-room. The WS are interesting complements.

It's a beautiful room with a very elegantly built ceiling. It looks now more like an art gallery than a part of a monastery. The plants in the pots create a nice atmosphere. There was a good light that you handled well.
